T&A necessary or is it an allergy?

Hi there-I have 2 sons, 5 and 3 years old.  My 5 year old had ear tubes when he was 18 months and was much better for a long time afterward.  We moved to a house in OK that we discovered had black mold in it - it was a room we were in all day every day for almost 4 months and we all were getting sick.  Both boys got recurrent ear infections and my oldest had to get antibiotic shots it got so bad.  We moved back to AZ in Dec. and they've had a few ear infections.  Our ENT said they both need a T&A and my 5 year old should have ear tubes in again.  My 3 year old has had no other problems - just really enlarged tonsils and they both snore.  I just wondered if this all could be from the mold issue or a food allergy and should we try a naturopath for a remedy instead of surgery?
