allergy testing and shots

Hi. I have a 4-year-old son who has had chronic allergy symptoms and sinus infections since last January with no relief with change in seasons. Recenty he was allergy tested and tested postive in the mild catagory to most of the grasses, weeds, trees, molds, dog, cat hair  and even wheat and peanuts (though he has never had a problem with wheat bread, does not like peanut butter, but has never had a reaction to peanut products). By looking at the results it is hard for me to tell what he is really allergic to. The diluent control produced a wheal of 5 x 5 mm. The nurse at the allergy clinic told me anything bigger than that is positive. However, I am pretty sure that he is not allergic to the egg (6 x 6 mm result), wheat (7 x 7), or soy (6 x 9). So how do I know if he is really allergic to the other things if some of the resulting wheal sizes are the sam. Should I not be comparing them to each other? I would also like to hear opinions on allergy shots, and if they worth trying. The allergist wants my son to have them. I do want my son to get better, and he has had back to back sinus infections, and many antibiotics in the last 7 months. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks MM

Hi,
I take it after the testing was done they made your son an appointment with a dietician?
