nasal secretions

by herr, Oct 14, 2009 04:37AM
my 5 year old boy is allergic to feathers, dogs, mold and chocolate. his suffocation problem is under control with zertec, but his nose has been running for the last year, only the secretions are not fluid and he tries to send them out. doc says might be polyps or an allergy but no medication for allergy has worked so far. with a few days of home aerosol his secretions became fluid, but how can we get read of them?
at night he breather normally, on his nose, but durng the day, it's on his mouth
no otitis, no complications except for many colds during which the secretions become yellow or green....then again white and thick...it's been a year. How can we stop them?
