Bilateral Thigh Numbness

Bilateral Thigh Numbness

I had Coronary Artery Bypass Graft Surgery on July 1. Immediately after surgery I experienced intense burning sensations in the same area of both thighs. Since that time my thighs have been numb. My cardiologist and surgeon could not offer an explanation for the numbness. I have posted this issue in both the cardiac and neurology forums without response. A close friend suggested that I contact a chiropractor. He mentioned that the procedure may have resulted in a misalignment of the spine causing a nerve to be pinched. Could this be possible? If so, would consultation with a chiropractor be worthwhile?
