Hip question

I have recently noticed a dent forming in my hip right above my buttox closer to my side than my spine.  I've never ever had it in my life.  I have gained a little weight recently, and I had a baby a year and a half ago.  I recently started working out and my workout consist of a lot of leg lifts and pelvic tilts.  Sometimes I have minor back pain, but I don't have very good posture and have had some slight pains throughout my lifetime, so I don't think that it has anything to do with it.  Just curious if anyone had an answer...

Thanks!

It could possibly be a "back dimple" or "Dimple of Venus" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dimples_of_Venus).

They're dimples a little off-center from your spine, on your hip, and above your buttocks.  I have them and can feel a little lump moving around under there, my doctor told me it's just a little fatty lump called a "lipoma".  For a long time I only had one, then recently I noticed the other one had become more prominent and I now have two.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
It might be some rotation of the pelvis... Wouldn't hurt to consult with a local chiropractor for examination.
