Tingle sensation in lower back and left leg.

Tingle sensation in lower back and left leg.

I was involved ina motorcycle accident 14 weeks ago and suffered a "hoofa fracture"  Basiclly the fermur bone broke off at the knee joint and is now held together with a metal plate and five screws.  I have been going to a Chiropractor for 14 weeks.  The tingling feeling goes from my left lower back to the groin and down the left leg to the knee or maybe it starts from the knee.  The back pain is fine and no tingling feeling if I am working around the yard or garden but when I sit on any soft chair or ride in a car the pain and tingling feel is back.  I go to rehab twice a week for the knn and I have about 112 degrees of motion.  Will the tingling and pain in the lower back go away when the knee gets better?  Is it all related or do I have another problem?  x-rays were taken and basiclly my left hip is out of wack and is closer to the spine than the right side.
Any help would be great.

Stranger things have happened... It really depends on if any of the nerves traveling down the leg were damaged during this accident.

If the nerve itself was injured, it's unlikely that the sensations will go away. If, however, no nerves were damaged, and the cause of the sensations is actually due to the distorted pelvis and imbalanced spinal position, then it's very possible for the tingling to dissipate over time.
