i've been having terrible back pain, whenever i go feel to see what is there is a knot. is the knot what is causing it or could it be something else. also, i don't know if you can help with this or not but my jaw has been bothering for a couple of weeks now, it sometimes gets to the point where i can't eat or sleep, do you know what it could be, it's only my right side.

Muscle spasm can feel like a "knot" in your back, and produce fairly intense pain. As for the jaw, it may be a problem with your tempromandibular joint (TMJ). Consider visiting a chiropractor - they may be able to handle both of these issues at the same time.
