hideous back lower pain

ive had back pain since my 1st pregnacy but it was always bearable-when i fell pregnant about 1 year ago again from the start i had severe lower back pain it felt like it was very deep internally-i suffered a miscarriage at 22weeks pregnant that i feel was down to the back pain-everything went back to bearable as far as the pain was concerned but i never get a good nights sleep unless i got up in the night to move around otherwise i couldnt get up in the morning as i would almost be paralised to the bed! About a week ago whilst sweeping from the floor i suddenly calapsed to the floor screaming in pain-i couldnt stand/sit/move-eventualy with help and huge amounts of pain in my lowerback and pelvis i managed to lie down on my back,and i had to stay there for nearly a week-i have a lump/swelling in the lower part of my back which seems bigger in the morning-im in so much pain but when my doctor had a glancing look he just said to take ibruprufin and paracetamol which i had been so im still in lots of pain and am considering goin to a back specialist-i dont have alot of money and hear its expensive but the pain is inbearable-what could it be??-Have i done something really serious?-Im so worried?-please please help me???

It's not easy to say without examining you. I recommend finding a good chiropractor in your area. You're obviously in a lot of pain -- don't torture yourself by waiting any longer...
