slipped disk

i was diagoned with a slipped disk yesterday and my doctor is refering me to pain management for injections in my back. can a ciropractor help me?

Hello, I had two slipped disc's they are having u go in for cortizone shots in ur back... u can get 3 shots a yr if it still hurts even with the shots they will book u for surgery.... i was so scared about the surgery but within days i was up and walkjing fine on my own... obviouly there is pain but after a while u will be happy u did it, i know i am... hope this helps ..Good luck

Quite possibly. You might consider exploring all of your alternatives before immediately resorting to the pain injections. While many people have credited chiropractic care for correcting their disc problems, not all disc lesions will respond.
