I had chlamydia since oct.of 09 I have been trying to conceive during the time i didnt know.but in feb.10 I just recently found out i had it.me & my partner got treated for it.& i wanted to know have the chlamydia affected my infertility,but during the time I had Chlamydia I had my regular period.& iwant to know how long would it be to try to conceive after getting treated.

because my stomach didnt start hurting bad til i was tawkn to dis otha guy.& he was the only one aorund that time.even though you could have it for a long time and not know...but symptoms can show 7 to 2weeks..i guess im one of the lucky ones.

It is actually 1-4 weeks.  Either of you could have brought it into the relationship.  Or it could be a recent infection.  There really isn't any way of knowing unless you contact that other person.  It is best to wait and see if you both have been cured by getting a test for cure at least 30 days after treatment before trying to conceive.

You want to be sure you don't have chlamydia, right?  You want to have a baby, right?  Just because you are treated does not always mean that you were cured.  Yes, the failure rate is very low, but from your questions, you want to make sure chlamydia doesn't get in the way before, or during pregnancy. So, it is up to you.  Go on faith that you were treated or get a test for cure to make sure the chlamydia is gone.  Good luck with this!
