ANTIOBIOTICS FOR STD'S

I HAVE BEEN SEEING A MAN FOR ABOUT 9 MONTHS - WE ARE CURRENTLY ABSTAINING FROM SEX (AT LEAST I KNOW I  AM)  WHEN WE FIRST MET AND WERE HAVING SEX HE GAVE ME CHYLAMIDIA WHICH WE BOTH TREATED WITH ANTIBIOTICS.  WE BROKE UP FOR AWHILE AND HE WAS SEEING OTHER WOMEN.  TWO WEEKS AGO HE ASKED ME TO GET A REFILL OF ANTIBIOTICS FOR HIM AND ASKED ME NOT TO ASK QUESTIONS ABOUT WHY.  THE RX WAS EXPIRED HOWEVER AND COULD NOT BE REFILLED.  HE IS STILL ASKING ME TO GET HIM THE MED AND THE ONLY WAY I CAN DO THIS IS TO GO GET TESTED MYSELF FOR STD'S AND IF I HAVE CHYLAMIDIA GET A NEW PRESCRIPTION.  I AM PERPLEXED BY THIS REQUEST BUT I WANT TO HELP HIM AND OF COURSE MYSELF- WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT HIS REQUEST ? I AM AT A LOSS HERE.......

I think you need to tell him if he needs a refill he needs to get himself tested and get one the proper way.

If you haven't had sexual relations with him or any one else since your treatment you yourself should be fine.

It sounds as though your friend is not abstaining from sexual relations and he may be infected again... If that is the case he needs to be seen for proper diagnosis and you should not comply to his request for more than one reason... it is also illegal to provide prescribed meds to another individual then yourself.

Also he should be tested again to know for sure and if he is infact infected again he needs to tell his sexual partners as they need to know so they too can be tested and treated... and while your at it you may want to support your friend and buy him a big box of condoms. =)

I agree with kdaily. But also, if you go and lie to them telling them you have chlamydia, they'll give you the medicine BUT they are going to put it on your medical record. and next time you want to apply for insurance somewhere, they'll see that you have had this same std on different times and they'll raise the monthly payment on you. Yes, they are that mean! (that's why I don't want to get mine yet)
