Began Zithromax for Sinus infection

I am in my third day of a zithromax course, the antibiotic commonly given to cure chlamydia, for a sinus infection. My boyfriend was tested for possible chlamydia/gonorrhea and came back positive for chlamydia (today, after I had taken 3 days worth of z-pack). I am considering being tested just to 'be safe' but know that not only will the z-pack affect the test, but will most likely have cured any chlamydia I may have had (we have not had unprotected sex). Should I be tested just in case, despite both of us having taken antibiotics and myself still taking two days worth. Or should I just assume that my body is wiped of any/all bacteria and focus on taking in the 'good' bacteria?

Well you never want to assume, but if you two have never had unprotected sex your chances of having chlamydia would be 1% each time you had intercourse....  very slim chances

When one is infected and takes the meds they need to take the entire dose at one time not sparingly day by day, Yes being on zithro before testing would/could effect your results...

In my opinion you used protection so your chances of having it are very slim to none, but if you are overly concerned just wait a bit and get tested in a few days/a week to wait and test.
