Can sex during treatment stifle recovery?

4 years ago I believe I contracted Chlamydia (my then partner's ex said he gave it to her). She got pills for both of us, but we continued to have protected sex during treatment. Can this upset the intended outcome of the pills? I've experienced zero symptoms (nor have other partners, to my knowledge) and took all the medicine as prescribed.

I was discovered that I got chlamydia and I got the pills and all that stuff with the treatment then I had unprotected sex three weeks after taking the pills so does that mean that I could still possibly have it nor gave it too someone all of my symptoms are gone and everything look's good down there im going in too get another papsmere just to make sure its okay. But a bit nervous just wanted too hear everyones input? please help.
