If my girlfriend has been taking doxycycline for about two years, is it possible that she could have caught chlamydia and passed it on to me from a previous person she slept with. I recently got tested positive, but I am pretty sure the only person I could have gotten it from is here as that is when I started having symptoms. She also had an extremely bad yeast infection that felt different and more painful
then previous infections. She went to go get tested when she found out I was positive but she came back negative. Would I have only been able to have obtained the std from someone else??
At this point there is no way to tell if she got a false result or not. She would have needed to test again before taking the medication. I think you should just move on from this and start fresh. You were both doing your own thing during the separation
She could be getting a false result because of the doxycycline. It is probably killing the bacteria enough to not be detected in a test. How long have you been dating?
since we found out I had chlamydia. When she went in to be tested the doctor said that she saw some yeast and took a sample to look under the microscope with. The doctor said she didn't really see any white cells so that it probably isn't chlamydia. She was still treated with something that day though.
