Chlamydia Blood Test

Dear Doctor,

My sexual partner gave me chlamydia several months ago and i was cured. Several months later, we had protected sex and i got another chlamydia test and it was negative. I told him that I was not going to have sex with him anymore until he gets tested. He got tested and all of his tests were blood tests and they came back negative. We had unprotected sex and I have been having symptoms of chlamydia and haven't had any other sexual partners. I've been looking online to see if there is a blood test for chlamydia for men and haven't found that test to be reliable. I took a urine test. Since i've had chalmydia before, I do know the symptoms and i was tested negative for a UTI. So, i guess my question is, is there a blood test done to test for chlamydia in men and how reliable are the results on that test? Because if i have it, it was surely him that gave it to me.
