Chlamydia Question

Ok bear with me this might be confusing.
I had protected sex with a girl in the first week of november. Within 48hrs I found out through the rumour mill that she had Chlamydia. So instantly I went to the docter took the pills azithro and suprax. No problem. And got swab tested.
The test turned out negative.My question is I started sleeping with my current girlfriend 5 days after I took the treatment. Protected of course I always use condoms. And now its 2 and a half months later and I just started showing symptoms of Chlamydia being whitish discharge. Is there a good chance that I infected her and got re-infected myself or is this her doing?

Even if you tested too soon, the azith should have cured you.  

Since you didn't have follow up testing, its hard to say, but if this is chlamydia, its more likely that its from your current partner.

However, that's not a certainty, and if she has it, she probably doesn't even know.  The important thing is that you get tested and treated - both of you - and not who had it first.
