Chlamydia after treatment?

I tested positive for chlamydia. I took the Azithromycin pill around 11:50 pm and vomited around 2:45 am. I got tested for chlamydia and it was positive. My healthcare provider (the nurse at my school) suggested I take another dose.
But I found out online that false positives occur because of leftover antigens. (I never had symptoms before so I cant go by symptoms vanishing)

I want to know if me vomiting after (I'm 5'5 120 lbs) resulted in me losing the pill. or if I just tested "too early".

Hi, you might want to check with your nurse about this but my doctor says that with a 6 hour fast, its ok to do blood screen as the stomach is pretty much empty but not as empty as an 12 hour fast which he recommends for the best results.
