I was just tested for chlamydia and came back positive so I told my partner right away, she is having symptoms and I am pretty sure she has it too. She is scheduled for testing already but we are both freaking out if she may have permanent damage and infertility
problems. The earliest she could have caught this from me is three months ago but most likely in the last month or two. I am wondering what the chances of her having permanent damage are? Please help if you have any information.
If only a couple of months old...probably not. But only her Dr could tell her. Normally it takes several months...8+ months and even then it is not a high occurance.
I have been doing allot of research and only after the symptoms have been in effect like pain and fluid dishcharge have gone un treated for months on end then the falopian tubes only after months and months maybe years depending on the patient can she be negatively effected. Best thing to do go to doctor and get some antibiotics and dont cheat on eachother ever again. 22 million americans a year contract chlamydia beetween the ages of 19-39 wrap that dingy
