, I am a British male!
Once I got back to the uk, I went to the gum clinic to get tested for std's and I came back positive for chlamydia!
I got treated with 4 one dose tablets of arzithromycin!
after treatment I was not satisfied with the test I had done at the gum clinic so I had, syphillis (syphilis), gonorreha, HIV
28 day test, microplasma (mycoplasma), hep b, and chlamydia again a week after treatment, and this is now 28 days exactly after the exposure! A week later all of the above come back negative!
Hurray I thought, but this is were my anxiety is getting the better of me
My chlamydia symptoms persisted for weeks after, but this time no discharge
with while infected with chlamydia, I did masturbate and finger her, but she did not touch my exposed penis just on top of my underwear that stayed on! And I may have lied on top of her but still with underwear on! Could she have been exposed to chlamydia From this?
When I got the all clear from all of the tests I did, i started to have unprotected sex with my partner again!
And then after a night out on the booze the next two days the chlamydia like symptoms got quite bad burning, irritating small red and purple bumps on the tip of penis and burning and itcing under my pubic hair, so I took a fluconazola and use the cream and symptoms went away! And I thought this must of been a yeast infection possible from my encounter, or from my antibiotics taken for chlamydia.
Now my partner is have some issue down below, frequent peeing at night and irritation, could this be chlamydia from the episode I explained above or a yeast infection which I have passed to her from unprotected sex with her?
I have had unprotected sex with my partner about 4or 5 times in total after all my test above and after this a took another test for chlaymdia and trich! Which came back negative surely if she had chlaymdia I would have it again after this much exposure?
So my questions are
1) in your profesional opinion from my symptoms did I have a yeast infection?
2) could my partner have chlaymdia or could it be a yeast infection?
She is going to the docs today.
3) should I consider having another syphillis (syphilis) test I have had no ulcer on penis, but I just found out arzithromycin can effect the result?
Apologise for being paranoid, which I think I am! And I have well and truly leant my lesson to be fathiful! As I love my partner very much.
Dr's do not post here you have to pay to have them answer a question.
1) Can't say, might have been or might have been simple irritation
2) I don't see how she could have chlamydia based on what you have said you did
3) No syphilis is rare in the US, only about 20,000 new cases a year and most in men who have sex with men. A woman having syphilis in the US is very rare.
