Chlamydia question

I am male and in a relationship since 3 years. I have never had unprotected vaginal sex with anyone however received oral sex (no ejaculation although probably does not matter) with a woman a few weeks ago. My spouse had some minor bleeding between menstruation which has not passed and she is visiting the doctor next week. Do not have any other signs that she has chlamydia but scares me a bit, could I have infected her?

I have not tested myself but have not had any symptoms at all. I have two questions, could I have received Chlamydia through receiving oral sex? If not, is it possible that I have had chlamydia since before my current relationship but without symptoms and that I have infected my spouse only now?

I will test myself but was interested to hear on how chlamydia can spread and also on how long the incubation period could be?

It is possible to get it from oral sex but note that it is EXTREMELY rare to get chlamydia from oral sex.  The mouth is a hostile environment for std's so they don't thrive very well there.

Usually one would start having severe symptoms from untreated chlamydia after about a year to a year and a half.  So, you having it for 3 years isn't likely at all.
