Chlamydia spred by oral?

I was tested and found positive for chlamydia, told my boyfriend, and he took the medication used to cure it. I still had yet to take the medication. so I still had chlamydia and he had already taken the medication.  At least 1 to 2 weeks later (1 week minimum) he gave me oral, does that mean he has it again.. ?  There was no intercourse, just he gave me oral. What is the liklihood he caught this again?   I have seen that it seems to be rather rare to spread from vagina to mouth... any help?
