About 7 months ago my wife had an abortion with my concern. 2 months after that she went to the emergency and was tested positive for chlamdyia and other STD and bacterial vaginosis or sthg. Now we got separated around the time of the abortion and the time she was sick. After the abortion we had some sex but protected cuz I worn a condom. So I know I didn't give it to her. She claim she didn't sleep with no one. But she had been tested positive 4 yrs ago before and treated. So how can she get it if I didn't give it to her

Well you should get yourself tested to make sure you aren't infected... But to be honest you will never know...

She could have had a false positive as she was pregnant and being pregnant can cause more false positives.

She should have had a confirmed test to make sure it wasn't a false. but because she didn't she'll never know and niether will you.

The other problem is your wife is not taking care of her body the more she is infected ie. getting reinfected, this causes scar tissue and can effect her reproductive organs. Not to mention she had an abortion which can cause damage as well... if she wants to have kids you need to sit with her and explain to her the damage she is doing to her self.

But get yourself tested for Chlamydia to make sure you aren't infected and I would suggest you both get a full STD panel to learn your status.

thanks for the reply kdaily. but this is the whole story.
In august 2008 my wife had an abortion. but before the abortion i told her i need some space to think. thats whether we are financially sound. so the best alternative was abortion. we had sex 5days after. but all these while we were not together which means she can sleep withsomeone. but we had couple of sex  after that but i worn a condom all the time.
then in october she was tested +ve for bacterial vagnosis, clamydia (chlamydia) and another std. she never told me about it she said the doctors said she lack iron and potassium.
we married in january then just recently found it in her closet.
now im tested -ve . she said it was the sex we had when she had the abortion. if so then i have it but i dont. otheerwisae she will be reinfected right,. but she aint neither. plssss help

Now to your questions, You wife tested for BV and Chlamydia so there is a chance that she had a false positive due to the BV. but she could have also had relations with someone else.

Let me ask this whos idea was it to wear a condom?? yours or hers?

I'm sorry my last comment was not suppose to be judgemental it was just a statement that your wife is duing sever damage to her reproductive system, Again I'[m sorry i know every one has there reasons and have no other choice.

Also, if you did have it and you were never treated then yes you would have reinfected her by now.

thx again you're indeed a great help. And no hard feeling here about your comments ok. i thank you. cuz im gettin more insight of this whole thing.
i think i was just a common sense for me to use a condom since i didnt want another pregnancy.
anyways im doin a follow up on my test in 5 days so that  will be hopefully helpful too.
o and the other disease was trichomoniasis.
im just ****** up cuz some thg is not right here. umma wait for her results too on tuesday

ok so you are saying that the abortion cud have the bv and the other stds without necessarily sleepin with someone else

No.... not at all, what I was saying is that being pregnant can CAUSE a FALSE POSITIVE... not cause an STD.

and if your wife was also diagnosed with Trich... and if you don't have that either ... then to be honest chances are that she did infact sleep with some one else. Trich is another STD and the chances of her having two false positive for two different STDs are slim to none. Sorry.
