Chlamydia

Hi, I'm a 21 year old female who just got results back saying that I tested positive for chlamydia.  I have been with 2 people in my lifetime.  One was a boyfriend of 4 years and one just happened recently.  I am positive that chlamydia had to have come from this new, recent partner because my ex has not been with anyone else. However, I have had sex with my ex one time after this new guy.  I got the pills to be treated for chlamydia today, as did the new guy.  What I'm wanting to know is how likely it is that I gave my ex-boyfriend chlamydia that one time we had sex since I had been with someone else.  I know either way I need to let him know so that he can be treated just in case, but I was wondering if there is anyway that he didn't end up getting chlamydia.     Thanks!

Well, it really doesn't matter.  The fact of the matter is there is a chance you gave it to your ex if it was unprotected sex.  And I would assume that chance relatively high unless you didn't get the chlamydia until after you slept with the ex.  There is really no way to tell unless he gets tested.
