Cold and antibiotics

Hi, I have recently contracted Chlamydia. I have completed 7 days of doxycycline hyclate twice a day yesterday. This morning it still burned a little after I urinated. While I was taking the doxycycline I also got a common cold. Is it possible the cold somehow didn't let the antibiotics work against the Chlamydia infection? or possibly my immune system was overwhelmed with two infections and didn't cure the Chlamydia? I know this is probably a silly question but I just want to be sure I got rid of the Chlamydia. My symptoms are definitely better than when I first start the doxycycline but I just want to make sure it's 100% gone.

No, the cold would have no effect. No your immune system is fine.
Symptoms can take up to 2 weeks to be fully gone.
