Dosage = 2 x 1g of Azithromycin

Hey Folks, I have recently contracted Chlamydia and sent away for a DIY testing kit which I did and sent back to a clinic for analysis.

Whilst I was waiting for the results (which were taking a lot longer than normal ) due to a postal strike here in the UK and it being a weekend) I found another website where I could by Azithromycin from, which I did.

When it arrived the next day, (2 x 500mg) I took as described. 3 days later, the symptoms still persist.

The test results came back positive and they also sent out Azithromycin (4 x 250mg).

I have also taken these today (3 days after the first), in hope it will cure the infection.

My question is, obviously I have taken more than stated in total, but will this do me any harm?

The dose for Chlamydia is correct. But you should be tested for other STDs. Remember this caveat.: a person who treats himself has a fool for a doctor.
