Doxycyline and chalmydia

Hi i am just wondering, i am taking doxycyline for acne, i am just wondering if i come into contact with chlamydia or any other bacterial STD will the Doxycyline prevent me from catching it.
I have been on it for a few days.


Also unrelated is it ok to take viagra with Doxycline?

Talk to Dr about medication interaction. Taking doxy might stop an STD, but why not use a condom??

I am actually more curious than anything.
I did sleep with a girl recently and the condom slid off so that's why i was asking about the protection the meds might give me against bacterial std's.
