False Postive???

I went in for my annual well-woman exam, and i popped positive for chlamydia.  I've had the same boyfriend for 2 years.  I've never cheated on him, and he swears he's never cheated on me.  So I made him go get tested for everything possible, and he came back negative for everything including Chlamydia.  The only thing I can think of that may have caused his to clear, is he had several tooth infections over the last few months that he had been taking antibiotics for, but even then we had still been having sex after he stopped the antibiotics.  What are the odds that I got a false positive or that he got a false negative?

It's possible.  It doesn't happen all that often but it does happen.

The same thing is going on with me i tested Positve and my boyfriend tested neg. I never cheated and he says he did'nt either. He also had some work done on his teeth. But I also had a bactrial infection I wonder if that made me have a false positve?
