How did I get tested positive but my partner got tested negative

Me and my boyfriend have been together for 2 years off and on. last summer we split up. We started seeing other people.but before we got back together we both got tested. After we had sexual intercourse. We went to 2 different doctors 2 days later I get a call saying Im positive for chlamydia. He called the doctor infront of me and they said your test came back all negative you good. I have been tested after every partner I been with. What I don't understand is why is it that I'm positive with this std and he's not!?

Can't really say. You got a false positive? Maybe your previous test was too soon?
