cyst with haemorrhage/debris. which is indicative of a recent trauma,,, e.g crushing them on my surfboard which is entirely likely. However the results suggest that is also may suggest recent epididymitis
. I was prescribed antibiotics. the pain ceased after about 5 - 6 days.
On a follow-up with the doctor he seemed to be leaning more to the conclusion that this all due to chlamydia, which has sent me into a bit of a spin (well actually sick to the stomach with worry).

I wouldn't think this would be caused by piles, but I don't know for sure.
I can tell you that it would be terribly unlikely that you had chlamydia for 3 years with no symptoms, and I'd wonder if your doctor actually tested you for chlamydia, or if he is just making guesses.
Thanks for your reply, the only test the doctor had to go from was the ultra sound. so it was, i guess an assumption he based on this and perhaps his experience.
The other thing about this is, if i have had it for so long then my wife would surely be showing symptons now as well and other than the odd heavy period and occasional UTI (which she has had trouble with since our first born, now 17) there has been know evidence to indicate infection.
I guess the only for me to do is suck it in and get a test.
