How long can u wait to be tested for chlamydia

I recently was with someone for about 2 weeks and we had sex probably 8 times 3 of which we didn't use a condom. Well he went and got tested and found out he had chlamydia. I had it before and I thought maybe I gave it to him. I told him about my past and everything. Well I went to the doctors 4 days after he told me he had it and he got the medicine that day he was diagnosed. well I took the test and it was negative. I however had a UTI and  yeast infection. could I possibly still have it and had been tested too early for it? I'm worried because right now I am itchy and red down there. I just started my period and stopped shaving down there. I just dont know why I'm irritated. and I took medicine for my yeast infection and for the UTI my doctor said the UTI medicine may cause me to get another yeast infection..so I'm wondering if it could be that. so basically I guess my question is could I still possibly have been infected with chlamydia or no?

How long after you had been with him last did you test?  Chlamydia will show up on a test within about a week.  Are they treating you for chlamydia?  They should be, because you have been exposed.

Yeast can make you very itchy and irritated.
