I have chlamydia and gonorrhea

I have chlamydia and gonorrhea and I am on Doxycycl HYC and I also got a shot in my hip. The only symptom that I have is a white discharge and thats it.  I got chlamydia and gonorrhea from my ex-fiance and I have not told him because he gave it to me.  I want to know how long will it take the chlamydia and gonorrhes to clear up and I want to what was the shot for that the nurse gave me.

The shot was for the gonorrhea.  The doxy is for the chlamydia.  

How would you feel if you met a new guy and he gave you gonorrhea and chlamydia?  If he doesn't know, he will spread it to the next girl and any partners she may or may not have.  And what if the new guy you meet happens to be the person who gave it to the girl that gave it to your ex?  You feel what I'm getting at?  Be responsible and stop thinking in anger for the moment.  Help stop the spreading of these diseases.  This is part of the reason why it keeps going on.  People are being vengeful and not making the ethical decision to inform their partners when they have gotten and std from them.  So what if he blames you?  He is your ex and you would have done your part.
