Oral sex and chlamydia

by Beck2424, Aug 14, 2009 07:30AM
Ok, I'm confused about oral sex and chlamydia. Here's the deal. I gave a woman oral sex only two weeks ago. If I did catch chlamydia in the throat (which I have no sore throat) could it then be transferred to another partner from throat to her vagina through oral sex? And if so, can you then catch it through sexual intercourse? And are the symptoms of throat chlamydia the same as anal or vaginal intercourse? For example, would someone with throat chlmydia have burning in the penis when urinating or discharge? Confused about this.

If you just have Chlamydia in the throat... it needs to be transmitted to your genitals for it to cause symptoms there.

Throat Chlamydia is most likely spread via women giving oral sex... that is from an infected man to a womans throat, or from an infected womans throat to a man.

Vaginal oral is a little less likely, however still very much so possible if you're really going at it.
