PID and Chlamydia

I had an annual exam this past week and they ran the gambit of std tests as well. I received a call from my Dr, she said I tested pos for chlamydia. I was shocked, I have been with the same partner for 7 years. No one has been unfaithful and what else is strange is that I have a 3y/o and was tested I believe 2x for std's including chlamydia that came back neg. Also in Dec. I had a medication abortion and didn't go back for my follow up could this be an infection from that causing a false pos. ?  Could it be PID from the abortion or could I have been carrying this undiagnosed ? I have an appointment soon for treatment but maybe I could get some insight.

You would not have chlamydia for 7+ years. Ask for a retest. If test positive then have partner also tested.
