Pain urinating and sore penis

On Oct 24 and 25 I had unprotected sex with long term partner. On Monday, Oct 26, I felt feverish and chills and on Tuesday Oct 27 I felt discomfort urinating and my limp noles on the left side of my groin was swollen and soar. I had this feeling 2 months ago (the soar and swollen limp nole on the left side in the groin area) but I took amoxicillin and it got better but no pain in urine.  On Oct 28, I seem a doctor and she put me on Doxcycline 100mg twice a day.  As the days progress over the weekend the level of pain discomfort stay the same (bearable) .Up to this posting date, I still feel a small pain urnating but over the last 4 days I can feel under my penis the soarness of my urethera tract from my lower scrotum to the edge of my penis.  It is soar when I slight press on the penis only.  The doctor is awaiting STD results.  When I urinate it is like a slight push and slight pain as my urethera expands on urinating I feel the discomfort midway up the shaft to the below the head of the penis.  I have not had no pus or discharge and blood in urine or other secretions. Nov 2  is the last day of my dosage so, do I possible have an STD? Do I need stronger meds?

Chlamydia doesn't usually show after only a couple of days and definitely not that strongly.  But your results will tell.  You need to wait so that you can make sure you get treated properly.
