Penis discharge with negative test results

I had unprotected oral back in October of 08 and had some discharge from my penis daily. I had a urine test done and the dr put me on antibiotics. The test was negative but I continued to have discharge (clear to cloudy) for about 2 weeks total. I had a second test done which was negative. I used antibiotics yearly for 2 years so a little concerned that they would not be as effective. IF I had a false negative test and now no symptoms what test could be done now to insure that I did not in fact have a positive status?

Did the symptoms stay gone?  Were you on antibiotics at the time of testing, or had you been on them within 2 weeks prior?

What antibiotics were you given?

I'm not sure what the question is, really, if the symptoms are gone.

I had a similar prob. Execpt my x came out positive for hsv2 April of 08.  last time I had not had any sexual contact with her was sept 10 2008. Protected I had 2 blood test done.  I had one done June and one done in aug and they where negative. Mind u I have not had contact with this chick since sept and it was protected. When I split up with here in OCT I had sex with a girlfriend and or was protected. Then in march with a co worker unprotected a couple of times. About a month and a week ago I would say I noticed discharge thick white sometimes yellow everymornin for about a week followed by some pain when urination. Now I have had clymadia before and I thought that's what it was so I went to planned parenthood test came back negative. Prob kept happening so I went to my pcp she did a urine test and it came back negative for white puss cells or bactaria again. She told me claymida is kinda tricky to find sometimes. She put me on azithromycin 2pills and discharge cleared up by next day had some wierd pain the second day but it went away and discharge cleared up I feel alot better no more burn no more discharge no pain and by the way I never had sores. Can this be herpes? My question is if I did have a infection due to hsv2 wouldn't it have shown some sort of puss or  infection in the urine sample? Would the azithromyxin clear up a uretha herpes break out ? Doc told me to take it and if I don't feel better by Monday to go see here. It's tuesday and I feel great I took it on Thursday night. I'm going through alot of stress and anxiety with this and I don't know what to do or tell my last partner

No herpes would not show up with that sort of test, you would need an IGG blood test 4 months post exposure.
