Recuring Chlamydia

ok i contracted chlamydia from my girlfriend who didnt kno she had it until i got it, i have been treated with 8 pills at once in my doctors office, four of the pills were white and the other four were a pinkish red, the nurse made me take them all rite their! i havent had sex in three and a half weeks almost a mounth but the other day it started to burn when i pass urain and that made me nervous.

so my question is can chlamydia come back even though i didnt have sex?  and if so y didnt the treatment work?

no it can't come back with out being reinfected.. With the amount you were treated with I would doubt that the treatment didn't work.

I would def. follow up with your doctor and get retested but I would also test for Trick and NGU. your GF and yourself should get a full STD work up to.

and one more thing my GF got a pep smer done when she went to get treated for the chlamydia so would the Doctor have found and treated her for Trick and NGU if she had it?

No, those tests are done if the person asks. And NGU is not tested for in women because it is basically just bacteria that is common in many places that just has an adverse effect in a man's uretha.

As you were told treatement probably did work, this might be something else.
