Relapse/Ways to contract

So last month I tested positive for chlamydia, it was unpleasant and took longer to get over than I had expected (I took two rounds of zithromax and a round of dioxcycline (or whatever its called). Probably overkill, but the doctor later explained that there would be some inflammation that would continue for a few days. The doctor also re-checked and the chlamydia had been cured. In between this period I received oral sex from the same woman who I either got it from/gave it to before she had a chance to get treated. The chlamydia symptoms went away for about a week, but now they're back in full force. Did I get reinfected by getting oral sex? Is that even possible? Did I somehow not kill it off all the way and it relapsed? I'm a little confused/worried.

It would be rare for someone to have oral chlamydia. I would suggest testing for gonorrhea, NGU and chlamydia. If positive for chlamydia this partner also needs to test, espically for oral STD.
