STD? Chlamydia or gonorrhea?

I had sex four days ago and I used a condom which I'm pretty sure didn't break. Two days ago the tip of my penis was sore, especially when I urinated. Yesterday I felt that it was a bit worse and my scrotum began getting itchy so I went to get an STD check - they said that the microscopy didn't show anything immediately but that full test results would be available in a week. Later that day I began to feel groin pains up either side and across the middle and this continued today as well as the penis tube being sore, not just the tip now. Just to note there are no visible sores or discharge - I have got a couple of ulcers since but I suspect this is unrelated.

My questions are: is it likely I have an STD from these symptoms? will the results of the tests be conclusively accurate, especially given that I had it so soon? How quickly do I need to get something treated if I do have it?

Not likely that you got a STD from protected sex. If you went to test 2 days after sex then the tests probably will not show anything, but I don't see this as a STD related issue.
