STD Treatment

I was recently treated for gonorrhea and chlamydia about 3 days ago. The first day and after Iw as feeling a bit better and the greenness decreased in the discharge. This morning it appears the rate of discharge has increased again and the pain in urination and general discomfort has increased. Is this normal? I took one dose of 1 big white pill and 4 smaller red pills. Should I be discouraged?

Did you actually test positive for either of those?

The thing about gonorrhea is that its resistant to a lot of drugs, and not knowing for sure what medication you got for it (the big white pill was probably cipro, and that's for gonorrhea usually, but it could have been cefexime), its tough to say if it will work.

Gonorrhea can be resistant to cipro, so if you tested positive for it, you might need a shot of ceftriaxone.  You should follow up with the doctor who prescribed these meds.

Give it a few days, though.  You just took the meds a few days ago.  If its not gone away by Monday, then you might get re-treated.
