STD dosage

what if I made a mistake taking my zpak.  I took only 3 250mg tabs at once, then 3 days of 250mg.  Am I ok?

You should be, but you might want to test in a month or so to make sure its gone.  Testing any sooner won't be accurate.

If you don't want to wait, call your doctor and let him/her that you didn't get the full 1000 mg at once, and ask for guidance.

Thanks for the info.  Just curious about this drug....I saw an earlier post that stated a 2 x 250mg initially + 4 days of 250 would not be effective vs this.   Why is that?

You need a bigger bang at one time to cure it.  Spreading it out like that won't be enough azithromycin to cure chlamydia.
