Should I get tested again

Hi AJ. First off, great forum and very informative and to the point information from you. Good Stuff. no onto my issue. I had protected sex with a CSW, and after 5 or so days after developed a mild to moderate (at times) burning sensation in my urethra mostly inside the tip. This sensation was not during urination. No pain either. Have not passed any matter such as pus. Very frequent urges to urinate. I was still concerned about chlamydia and gonorrhea. I was travelling at the time and on my last day in that country went to a doctor. At this point it had been 10 days since the start of this sensation. The doctor physically examined the area and could not see any thing unusual. I told him that I was suspecting chlamydia and gonorrhea. He prescribed urine analysis and 72 hour urine culture. After 4 days I got a call from the doctor stating that the results were all clear. He asked me drink a lot of fluids and see a urologist if things   dont work out. Its been over a month now and the frequent urge for urination is gone but the sensation comes and goes. I dont have it for 6 days and then on day seven it is back, then goes away again. I am wondering if the urine tests done conclusive i.e. no more testing necessary or a different test required or urine test to be done again. From what I have described does this sound anything like a STD

No, its not sounding like an std.  STD symptoms wouldn't come and go like this - they'd be constant.

That said, you do need to see a doctor to find out what is going on, but its not going to be an std.
