Timing issues

I was tested, and given treatment for chlamydia and gonorrhea, the results are not back at this time but was given 2 grams of azythromycin.  The Nurse Practioner said that it would take care of both chlamydia and Gonorrhea if they are/were present.  I know that I will be speaking with them soon, but wanted to know if these both or one or the other are present, what kind of time frame do I need to wait for re testing.

Azithromycin might not cure gonorrhea, but you can worry about that if your test comes back positive.

Unless you still have symptoms (if you did), or are worried that you might have been re-infcted, you don't need to retest.  If you decide to, you should retest no sooner than a couple of months from now.

Make sure you tell your partners that they need to be tested and treated, as well.

so my tests for gonorrhea and Chlamydia came back negative.  However I did and still do have a "drip", just took my azithromycin yesterday.  I don't and haven't had any burning while peeing, though it was a bit itchy on the tip for a few days not today.  From what i have read it sounds like the azithro i took should take care of any NGU do you concur with this statement?

I do.  You just need to give it a few days to work.
