UTI or Chlamydia

Are the symptoms of Chlamydia the same as a bladder infection?  Keep getting recurring bladder infections which go away with antibiotics, but, the infection seems to come back so quickly!  I am wondering if it is possible for Chlamydia to be misdiagnosed as a UTI.

Yes, the symptoms are similar, but if you are getting appropriate testing, the docs should be finding bacteria in your urine.

Since you are getting them again and again, have your doctor do a culture and sensitivity.  This will find out what specific bacteria it is, and what medication will work best to cure it.

If you are worried about chlamydia, get tested for that, too.
