Urethritis

I'm a 22 yr old male. I just had knee surgery in august and hadn't had sex since april. After my surgery i developed a bad case of urethritis, tested negative for UTI and gonorrhea but tested positive for chlamydia and was treated. Symptoms cleared for 3 days and then came back. Not sure if the symptoms went away from by getting rid of the infection or from the Celebrex i had just gotten for my knee. Got tested again, chlamydia and gonorrhea both negative. Got tested for herpes and AIDS for my own peace of mind, both negative. No bumps or marks or lesions or rashes. Still haven't had sex so there's not chance of me having been infected again. Celebrex and lots of water helps to relieve symptoms. What could be causing my chronic urethritis and is there anything i can do to get rid of it?

forgot to mention, i was treated with one dose of zithromax after the positive test, and 7 days of doxycycline after the second test and i finished the antibiotcs even after the test came back negative.

So you are still having symptoms but are testing negative now?

Have you followed up with your doctor?
