Vibramycin for 20 days... Is chlamydia gone?

Hello,

I was recently infected with chlamydia.
After blood tests, my doctor saw that I had "new" and "old" chlamydia. I'm not really sure what exactly that means but he gave me Vibramycin 100mg for 20 days and then Ofloxacin 200mg for another 10 days - to clean the sperm....
I was on the 10th day of Vibramycin when I had sexual activity again. I received oral sex - very briefly - but was also naked with that person in bed. There was touching involved.

What should I do??

Sorry - i made a mistake.

It was on the 15th day i had oral sex and touching again. Not the 10th.

A blood test is not reliable to diagnosis an active chlamydia infection. Follow up with your Dr and have a swab or urine test done.

I did have a swab test...sorry i didn't mention that either. Swab and blood test.

Ok, what you did was not really a risk, oral sex is low risk and see no need to worry at this time.

That's strange...I've had chlamydia in my throat before. How low is the risk....?

How do you know you had oral chlamydia? A throat swab test? And how do you think you got it?

oral chlamydia was a while ago. i knew because .i got tested. i might be wrong though. but i do remember once when i went for my regular check up the results came back positive for oral chlamydia....is it really unlikely? am i remembering wrong? i'm unsure now too. but i do recall being surprised because it was some time after i had read on this website how low risk oral sex is in regard to sti's and especially chlamydia.

It's unlikely but possible. The Dr's on this site take the stance rare if at all possible, I have seen people say they tested positive so I will say rare but possible.
