Zithromax one dose versus 5 day

Will 5 days of taking 500 mg of Zithromax be as effective as the one dos regimen of 1gram

No.  That won't be enough of the meds at once to kill it.

Yes, the 1 gm is all you need.

Even if it is 1g of the immediate release?  I took 500mg for 3 days then 1g yesterday.  Will that cure?

hi..my boyfriend had the first 500mg last week wednesday, then he took 1g 2days ago.we had unprotected sex after 2days he had his 1g dose for azithromycin.am i gonna be reinfected again for that?
