Zithromax

I recently to Azithromycin for an unrelated throat issue. I found out just tonight that someone I had oral sex with had Chlamydia.

I took the Zithromax a WEEK after the sexual encounter. I took the following doses:

2 x 250mg day 1
1 x 250mg day 2,3,4,5

Since I took the dosage in a spread out period for my throat issue, would it be as effective clearing up the Chlamydia even though I didn't take the common does of 1gram the first day?

I just would like to know if I need to take Zithromax again because of how I took the dosage for the throat issue.

I hope I killed 2 birds with one stone.

Oral sex is really not a risk factor. Your doses of zithromax is called a z-pack. No studies have been done to show this is adequate treatment. But , it should be.

Ok I just found out i had chlamydia and i took the 2 does for one day of Azithromycin and my doctor wants me to finish with the doxycycle also to give it a extra boost.  Ok but if i found out that i had it and my gf went to the hopsital to get test but all we have done is have sex one time and she oral or me and i did it on her.  Would she have it still in her mouth even if they didnt find it down below
