ok so how long are you supposed to insert it in for? and how accurate is a swab?
surley there must be enough antibody to detect? they only started bringing this out
before they used to do it for u rite? how do you know? please help?
I know because the last time I tested, the NP mentioned that the swab may not be accurate if enough sample does not get on the swab, so leaving it on for about a 30 second count and following the directions on the home test kit, should just about do it properly. With the money you are spending on the home tests, you could probably find a clinic to do it at a lower or the same cost. Why not just get it done professionally? What makes you think you have chlamydia anyway?
thankyou for your advise, do you know how does it enter someones body? and what test did you do? was it from the nhs? do i need to retest? thankyou for your help
Through prolonged sexual contact. I am not a scientist or doctor so I cannot tell you exactly how it happens. All i know is the bacteria has to pass the membranes of the genital tract to cause infection to spread. Ejaculation is not the only time fluid leaves the penis during sex. There is such a thing as pre-ejaculation fluid.
I don't think it is necessary to retest. But if it will ease your mind, then by all means do so. I was tested at my local health department. I personally do not like to waste money. So, to make sure things are done right, I leave it to the people who are trained to do things of this nature.
