blood test for chlamydia

by asdfas, Feb 13, 2009 11:51AM
My gynecologiest gave me a blood test for several things which included chlamydia and the result is cofusing.
It says IgA1.01 and IgG 1.78 (in French)  and it is indicated that I have to have another blood test in 3 weeks. They also took swab and the doctor says that I am almost sure that I do not have chlamydia.
I do not understand.Could you explain me this ? Thank you.

The blood tests aren't as accurate as the swab tests, so its good that you had that done.  If the swab is negative, then you don't have chlamydia.
