burning sensation went away

it used to burn when i urinated now i did get tested for an STD but the results wont come back for two more weeks. Does the burning sensation for chlamydia or gonneria remain constant or can it go away after a little while.

No symptoms occur in up to 8 in 10 cases. If symptoms do occur, they can include:

Pain or burning when you pass urine. ( which wouldbe constant)
Bleeding or spotting between periods. In particular, bleeding after you have sex.
Pain or discomfort in the lower abdomen (pelvic area), especially when you have sex.
